Phone Counselling

Telephone counselling retains all the benefits of consulting with a trained professional, with the added convenience of doing it from your home or office. We can offer evening and weekend appointment times not normally available, and it will actually cost less. Simply ring and book a time that's convenient to you, and yes you can include your partner in the call.

There are lots of benefits for you!

No waiting lists, no driving, no parking problems and no childcare costs.

Easy access to a variety of technology means we can now provide you with counselling, information and support in ways that are better suited to your lifestyle.

You can remain anonymous if you wish. The counsellor making the call need only be given a first name, with no identifying details if you prefer.

We can provide a service that is direct and in some cases immediate.

The Counselling Network is all about providing you with a confidential and professional service in a way that is both satisfying and convenient for you.

With a team of qualified and experienced counsellors available we can provide specialist counselling in a wide range of issues.

Who might prefer to use the phone ?
In reality almost anyone. Specifically we would suggest busy workers who find it hard to get away from the work place. Parents of young children, who would otherwise need to pay for childcare. Anyone with a disability who finds it hard to get around. People in rural areas needing support who don't have services available or cant get to them.

How does it work?

  • ring to book a convenient appointment time
  • pay for the session using a debit or credit card
  • ensure you have privacy and wont be disturbed
  • don't use the phone we are trying to contact you
  • have a pen and paper handy for useful notes
  • the counselling session will last an hour

At the end of the sessions you will be given an assessment of your situation and if appropriate be invited to make an ongoing appointment. If you wish to come in and meet your counsellor face to face first, we can arrange it.

Counsellors offering sessions on the phone are the same professionally qualified and experienced counsellors you would see if you came to us.
