Our clinical staff are drawn from a range of disciplines including Social Work, Psychology and Behavioural Science. We have come together to pool their extensive experience in the area of counselling and we are all tertiary educated qualified professionals.

Career Path
Lynn has extensive hands-on Counselling experience as well, prior to starting The Counselling Network, she worked as Telephone and e-Consulting Manager (2001-2004) and set up the National Counselling Call Centre for Relationship Counselling (UK) including as well as the following:

Raelene Flood
Bachelor of Arts, Psychology
Bachelor of Social Work

Raelene has over 20 years of experience working in government and community agencies. Raelene's many years of social work practice have equipped her to provide excellent counselling services to individuals and groups.

Raelene is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers, is an accredited Medicare Provider, and is currently taking referrals from Medical Practitioners.

Raelene has provided crises, short and medium-term counselling support to people around many issues, including parenting, family relationships, domestic violence, self-harm, suicide, sexual assault, loss and grief, self-esteem, anxiety and depression. She has worked extensively with people who have experienced abuse or neglect in their childhoods. Raelene has also prepared and delivered group programs addressing anxiety and depression.

Raelene has a particular interest in assisting people work through the effects of trauma. In particular, the often confusing and even scary feelings and behaviours that can be part of the ongoing legacy of having experienced trauma.

Medicare Provider
We are a Medicare Provider and accept referrals from Medical Practitioners for clients to receive a Medicare refund.
